Boot roundel removal

Hi,

How do I change my rear roundel?

My current roundel is corroded around the edges and I would like to change it. However, with it being part of the rear camera, is it a simple fix of prying it off like the bonnet or does it require a little more tinkering?

Any help greatly appreciated?

If possible heat it up with a hair blower etc (to soften the adhesive)...then pry it off carefully (just like you’d do the front Roundel).

If you’ve already purchased the correct rear Roundel (if not look it up using one of the online part database sites to get the correct 11 digit BMW part number...then google search the number for the part or a pic of the part)...you‘ll see what the back side looks like and how it is placed on the back up camera mechanism.

Just out of curiosity...I looked up the Roundels for my 2013 f06 650ix...the diagram illustration only shows one Roundel (#4 in the diagram)...and the part number index only lists 1 part number and QTY = 2. I would interpret this to mean that the front and rear Roundels for my f06 use the same Roundel.

Which is UNLIKE the diagram for my 2014 f15 X5...that diagram shows TWO Roundels and the part number index lists two different numbers (#1 & #2) and the QTY for each part number is 1:
