Couldn't have said it better myself! That is a beautiful lip though. Wish it would have been around before I bought my Hamann type lip.

Noticed you got one with a black sticker. Much more subtle than mine with the white sticker, much prefer yours.

hey ive got myself a lip as well from ebay (uk seller but i think itl be from china) but im unsure how im going to attach it to the car, so it does need to have holes drilled in the splitter but they dont seem to reach any of the existing screws that are already present under the vehicle. so my question is did your splitter reach existing holes? or did u have to drill into the bumper somewhere also? thanks

I also drilled new screws into the bottom of the OEM bumper. The screw holes on the lip aren't designed to line up with any existing screws on the bumper AFAIK.

Mark, a trick my shop does is to cut and shape a small piece of aluminum close to the front and expoxy that to the bottom so if you do scrape that is what scrapes and it also adds some rigidity in pushing bumper up instead of putting that reverse pressure. I will see if I can get a pic next time I go and when they do mine.

No offense but that works only in the US or UK where you’re not going very fast. We have 2 Typs of front lips here in Germany with an road approval one type with max speed of 250km/h and the other from Harman with a clearance of 250km/h+ Those lips are bolted to the OEM front. You have to remove the entire bumper and bolt the lip to it.
