Yeah, this site has really sucked for the past few days. They better fix it soon or they are going to lose a lot of eyeballs for their ads.

Seriously. Anyone else really really slow loading pages? Buffering, buffering.....

At least I was forced to pay attention to work yesterday without diversions.

In before another 72 hour crash.

Confession: due to the crash I’ve been lurking over at an old forum I was a part of 2007-2010, bimmerforums.

At my work, we’ve made an effort to stop printing out documents to save paper, and generally i feel we’ve done a good job.

I have a meeting this afternoon that i do need to print out some handouts for. So i go to the printer and get increasingly frustrated as i try to print the job multiple times and nothing comes out.

It turns out that i’ve been printing to the wrong printer. So i printed the job eight times more than i had to. It’s, uh.....a LOT of paper

Would you like to join my class action? It will be the only class action in history where the lawyers don't benefit more than the plaintiffs. Mostly because none of us will benefit.

I'm already starting to surf the Audi forums. BP - don't make me fully convert. Fix this crap.

You can ask you IT department and they can grant you access for your home pc.

Good luck.
I do have remote access, but theres a slight delay between office pc and laptop.
its easier to transfer files from office pc to laptop and open files locally from laptop. I wont need to rely on wifi connection so much.

So our Manufacturing Manager who I have posted about numerous times on here (clueless) wanted to brag quite a bit yesterday morning about his new "used" SUV. that he picked up this past weekend.

I don't have Social Media, but someone at work showed me where he posted a pic of him and his wife standing in front of it holding glasses of wine on I guess his FB feed. Looked like that old show "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous".

Now I might feel bad about this, but he plays jokes on people all the time which he thinks is funny. So I don't feel bad at all.

But yesterday afternoon, I had a few of my guys sneak out in the front parking lot and "zip-tie" his front and rear axles with 18" zip-ties.

Came in this morning to see the car moved about 30 ft in the parking lot...and abandoned. The operations VP who could barely keep the secret said he watched him pull forward...stop...pull forward again...then stop and park it.

20 minutes later, his wife showed up to get him. Now this guy has no mechanical sense at all...and basically not a lot of common sense.

I asked him in this morning's meeting if he switched up parking spaces as he is anal about parking in the same spot. He said that something was wrong with his car, and he was probably going to get it towed at lunch.

I finally broke down and said...let me have one of my guys look at it first. My guy didn't mention the zip-ties, and just said he found some "brush" under the car. So this guy now thinks he had got some debris stuck up in the undercarriage from some road construction he had driven through.

There...I had to tell someone.

It's really broke right now. Son thought he broke the clutch cable but can change gears. Just no engine power getting to wheels

Sounds like the bug is on it's back with it's legs in the air. Roll it over and see if that helps

You're welcome.
