Running R888Rs on lowering springs
Anyone have any experience running 315/30/20 R888Rs on stock 343Ms lowered on H&R springs? Bought the springs but now I’m beginning to think that it may rub. Thanks

Just wanted to update that I ended up lowering the car and putting those 315/30/20 R888Rs on (343M). No rubbing issues whatsoever, looks very aggressive.

Nice! I completely forgot that I have been running 10mm spacers on the rear and that's why i figured they would rub on a lowered M6. Have you tried going over speed bumps and driveways? No rubbing at all?

Yeah my own driveway is a decent incline and no problems. Speed bumps are fine as well. Despite New England roads I surprisingly haven't had any issues, and the car looks much more aggressive. Should note that they make lots of noise, much louder than my previous PSS/Ecstas/PS4S. |

Not sure how modded your car is or if you DD it but I’d suggest going up to Pilot Sport 4S first before R888Rs. Although they (r888r) offer insanely good traction they wear out much faster than normal tires and have lots of road noise as we said earlier. I think the PS4S is a great middle ground giving you better traction without the drawbacks of the R888Rs.

[QUOTE=M6noah;24632818]I'm running the Nitto NT-01 315/30/20 for the last 2 years and i daily drive my M6 GC, stage 2. The NT01's are made in the same factory as the R888R, basically the same tire for two different brands. I went with Nitto because it was the only brand that had tires for the front size, Toyo didn't have anything at the time in a 265/35/20
