DME Tune Legit? For bimmer 650xi
Hello, for a portion of time I was attempting to find cheap power adders to my 2016 BMW 650XI GC and I saw a tune that popped out to me the most from DME Tuning, I found them from Instagram posts.
There Stage 2 Tune claims to add +151 HP and +160 FT/LBS TQ with just upgraded downpipes. Is this legit? Should I spend the $2500+ or will I be scammed? Below is a screenshot of their claims and here is a link. |

I had Stage 2 from DME on my M6... They are legit... For Stage 2 on the M6, they required catless DPs and Gapped plugs, not sure if it'll be the same on the 650. If you are concerned, just reach out to them on Ig they are very responsive.

I have a stage 2 DME tune from DME tuning as well. catless and gapped plugs as well are the requirements on the M6. i haven't dynoed the car but it is very noticeable. i dynoed my car on a stage 2 tune from VF engineering and at the wheels it made 600 whp/wtq on a dynojet dyno. the DME tune is noticeably more powerful, but i never dynoed it. i wouldn't be so concerned with the peak numbers either, in these cars the way the power is delivered is more valuable. DME hands down is amazing.
