Yes huge power loss with the M3 from the 4.4 tt beast. That's why I couldn't do it in the first place coming from the F10 M5
Exactly. Like you stated in your OP, the neck turning must be substantial.

The m5 is a nice sleeper, but man, when I saw the GC in the wild, I had to slow down to appreciate it. Looks so good- plus alpine white is always an awesome choice on the ride. Can't wait for the pics!

Yup... Exactly my feeling every time I test drove M3/M4 no matter DCT or MT.

The MT in the GC might be even more rare. Tanzanite plus canyon. As you know, no CP with a manual. Unless my guy on the inside can get that fixed between now and production time, which should be soon....

I don't have the CP (didn't want it) but all the GCs I looked at here in Houston HAD CP, so we must have em all.

I have the competition package 343s but no CP or CBs.

The standard rim for M6 (Coupe and Convertible) is 19" (344M)
The standard rim for M6GC is 20" 433M
The standard rim for M6 Competition package is 601M
343M is optional at no cost for M6 Competition package or M6GC
343M is also optional ($1300) for non Competition package (M6 Coupe and Convertible)

Maybe you chose the 20" rims and paid for that?

Canada may have different "standard" options than bmwusa.

Mind you- most dealers order their cars with the 20" wheels. It's almost uncommon for one to go with the 19".

But when you order it- and go through the whole tracking process- if you don't select a wheel choice, standard, it will come with 19s which are pretty gross.

Not sure if it differentiates in Canada though :

I know frozen paint out there costs only 2k where out here it's 5k, but I believe your guys m6 is a bit more expensive (msrp)

You are likely right ... When I placed order the choice was standard 20 inch in brushed finish or black ($500) or the comp pack 20 inch with comp pach only ... And yes our cost is higher ... $157 k Canadian on order
