What's Your 7-Car Dream Garage?

Hey everyone! Not sure if there's a thread similar to this, but I thought it'd be both fun and interesting to see what people's dream garages are like. I'm sure that most, if not all of us, would buy all our dream cars if we could, so I figured I'd set the limit to 7 cars (one for each day of the week ).

I'll get started:

BMW M2 - Current car and couldn't be happier with it!

Alfa Romeo Giulia QV - As Jeremy Clarkson says, you're not a true petrolhead until you've owned an Alfa

GLC63 AMG - Not into the whole SUV thing but can't deny their practicality; I saw one of these in a blacked out spec and thought it was stunning.

Focus RS - Not a lot of words needed for this one: I love hot hatches.

911 GT3 - Arguably the best version of the world's best all-around sports-car.

600 LT - Looks good, sounds good, and is very, very quick. Since it's a dream garage, why not? I love McLaren's current design language and a lot of signs point to this car being one of the best the brand has produced.

Eleanor Mustang - I think no dream garage is complete without an oldie, and while old Ferraris and Lamborghinis are more valuable, I much prefer this classic Mustang. Can't quite put my finger on why, just something about it appeals to me.

Mine might be a little too "practical" and modest for a dream garage, but everyone is free to do it however they want to. Possibilities are endless!

I think your choices are admirable! Great cars indeed although I would an E63 BMW M6 equipped with a mechanic in there!

I have 7 cars...man, it’s getting to be a pain storing, moving, detailing and maintaining all of them.

Maybe this should be ‘7-car dream garage including enclosed storage for all 7 and a personal mechanic/detailer’

Great thread as it spurred fun thoughts on one more car to dream about.

Done with mine. BUT want one more to round to 8. Will retire in 5 years and then spend most of my time working on them and driving them up and down the wonderful North Georgia geography.

Want: 911 GT3 (had one on deposit several years ago but got distracted with life).
  • 19 GT-R :new experiences here, seating position reminds me of the MR2 Turbo, acceleration reminds me...well that is a new experience.
  • 17 M2 - perfect for the roads around here. Love the burbling sounds while downshifting
  • 07 Exige S - uses the Japanese oil filters from the MR2 Turbos which I love since I have several dozen filters in supply.
  • 07 S2000 - Mr. Reliable
  • E46 M3 - 03 and 05 - with the right tires- so much fun on the mountain roads!
  • 02 M Coupe - S54 and a hoot to drive.
  • MR2 Turbo - first car out of college and found/fixed up 3 more last 25+ years, replacement used engines are reasonably priced.

Those are in the garages. A 17 WRX serves as daily.

Thanks for letting me share. I was trying to figure out what to do today and this process motivated to go up the mountain roads hunting for that elusive GT2 RS again. I see it, and then poof- gone again. The driver has no fear.

7 cars is a bit excessive for me, but a well rounded 3-4 car garage for me would include :
  • F82 M4
  • Porsche 911 GT3 Touring
  • Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI XS 110
  • Some sort of daily driver/family hauler (4 door sedan with AWD or midsized SUV)

I'm gonna be a bit weird because i feel supercars are a bit much for the road and are just annoying to a degree.

Two things:

Thing one, I've been thinking about my list since this post went up and I still can't get even close to 7 cars, I'm like 20.....

Thing two, twenty one posts and not one EV....not trying to hijack the thread, just an observation. Great choices so far everyone.
