Accessing 2015 F12 Battery

Anyone know the removal process for the loading sill cover to access the battery for replacement?

Thanks,

Flintstone

Do you mean the carpeted panel that is the trunk's floor (#1 in diagram below)? If yes, you just lift it up on the tab that gives access to the storage compartment ( #3 or #4 in the diagram)...then simply llift the entire floor up and out and this will expose the battery compartment and its hold downs.

Thank you, however, # 5 is secured and has to be removed as it has an angle extending over
the small section of the small floor panel before exposing the battery compartment and its hold downs. The car has two floor panels covering the battery.

Number 3 has to be removed to fully access the battery.

Ahh...perhaps the f12 is slightly different than the f06. All I had to do to access the battery compartment in my 650ix GC was to lift the back the tab on the trunk floor liner (#1)... and it first folds back to uncover the storage compartment (#3)...then if I continue to lift and pull #1 forward...it reveals the battery compartment which sits further toward the rear seat. The storage compartment (#3) simply lifts out to expose the part that covers the battery compartment.

The rear edge of the storage compartment may be tucked beneath the rear piece (#5)...but it did not require being removed (you can see it in the pics below still in place)...all I had to do was lift & pull the storage compartment (#3) from the back side and if it was tucked below the rear piece (#5) it slid right out. But again, the f12 "vert" may be slightly different and requires more dismantling.

Thanks for the update...this discussion will hopefully be helpful for all f12/f13/f06 owners in how to gain access to the main battery compartment.

Thank you so much! I finely got the last piece out. It was under the back panel, and I had to really pull on it. Looks just like your pictures!

Thanks again for your time!
