You see that, boys and girls. It IS possible to not agree with someone and still miss them.

Dick is the greatest man's name ever. It's one of those ashtrays and liquor cabinet in the office with a pat on the ass for the secretary kind of names and making no apologies.

Pull tabs, and why you should never dispose of them inside the can until *after* you have finished consuming the contents.

Church keys, and the art of punching a small hole on the opposite side of the can lid as an air vent to help the liquid pour out faster and smoother.

Get off my lawn kid, and take that juice box with you!!!!!

These gave you a deposit return of 15 cents, which in turn you could buy a 12 oz. pop for 12 cents, and and some candy.

Jimmy Buffet slipped on a pop top, not a pull tab.

That's one of the new-fangled ones designed to be safe.

The old-skule ones had two slots on either side that you could use as a place to insert the blade a shoot the ring across the room.

Get off my lawn!!

SHOTGUN!!! But we always put said hole in the bottom of the beer can, then popped the top. There was a fine art to NOT getting it all over your shirt, so mom/dad didn't know you'd been out drinking again once you rode your dino home, right MKSixer ?

Damn straight!! I'm from Tennessee, so there will always be a liquor cabinet in my office, den, spare room, etc. stock-piled with bourbon/whiskey

Anybody here throw shoes at your TV to "fix" the reception, or bang the side of the box?

I remember when my grandpa got an electric antenna rotator for his RCA TV. We were uptown then.

We had a pipe sticking down through the ceiling of the basement stairwell. The antenna was in the attic at the other end of the pipe.

I was the rotater until Grandpa got that gizmo. My uncle marked the direction of different stations on the mounting bracket so I kinda knew where to stop. 3,5,7,24 were the selections. Every now and them we could get channel 10.

4-5 channels? We started with only the big 3, unless you want to add test pattern at midnight.

You're in good company. From TN as well, still reside, also a TN Squire. My liquor cabinet makes Jack Daniels fans drool. I have barrel number 69 of the inaugural distilling of Holiday Select. It was also one of the barrels used in the commercial in 2011 for the Barrel Tree. It's also signed by Frank Bobo, Jeff Arnett and Jimmy Bedfords widow Emily. There are only 2 in existence with those signatures; I have one, my sister has the other.

Same here! Thank goodness there were only 8 channels.

To continue, I remember when the entire state of TN only had one area code.

Exactly, some are so ripe. Nice legs and wearing rompers or onesies now. Soft skin and tiny waist. Grab them and then spread it like butter and jell
