Have you driven one yet? 640d is very uncommon here but I've driven a 535d and an x3 35d with the same engine (not tuned though) and you're in for a bloody big shock I can tell you

Why less than 40k? Just asking out of curiosity and for knowledge purpose

You should not be too worried about fuel in my opinion, I went from a 640d GC to an M6GC, both great cars and as quick in the real world. But the M6 is alot more special

Congrats on getting one! I needed to remove the ?quoteref part of the link, otherwise I just got a spinning circle. https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/vehicle/202009304408542 that works for me, one of the ones I linked to.

It looks like the 6 is flat and not domed when compared to the ///M part of the rear logo.

I also just noticed something which looks a bit strange to me. In the picture showing the seat controls the rocker switch which controls the top half of the back rest is flat on both of my front seat controls, but on that picture it is sitting on an angle. Definitely worth checking out before you pick it up.

Regarding mileage, I've taken mine from 4k miles to 45k miles in 2.5 years and it has been perfect. Apart from something completely left field - I was thinking two of any of the following: Yaris GR, 812 SFT, B5 Touring, M2 CS, S65 Coupe, R8 V10 6MT - I don't know what to do next and I can see I might take it up to 150k miles. They are very cool cars
