is there a way to upgrade / update display?

I have a '16, and I know the entertainment display is different from '17 on... instead of a list menu, they're like apps icons. Is it a programing thing or a full computer swap?

Anyone know?

It's a head unit swap. It is technically possible to run the later software on the '16, but the newer one has a faster processor and more memory, so you'll tend to get instability and occasional crashes if you force it onto the earlier one.

thanks... that sounds like a big job. I was hoping it's as simple as a software update or coding.
