M6 OEM Trunk Items

As far as I know, the hatch is not for the first aid kit. It is designed to allow skis to be carried inside the car. The first aid kit (at least on European M6's) is located inside the central part of the rear seat backrest, inside the rear passenger compartment. Tug on the small black horizontal lever, pulling it toward the front of the car. There should be a bag containing various first aid items.

This is one of the minor differences between the f06/f12/f13 models. The 1st aid kit compartment is in a different place for the 'vert & coupe...but the GC's 1st aid kit location is on the left side of the trunk. Whereas the coup & vert's 1st aid kit is in the rear armrest.
