Clueless Lady backs into my car =( How much do you guys think it'll cost to fix?

Happened today while I was at work enjoying my lunch I hear a bang This Lady backed right into my car & then it looks like she was about to run but luckily I was able to get her attention and tell her to stop. Luckily the damage is very minor imo but still want it fixed.

If anyone has shop experience, how much do you think it will cost to fix this?

From the pic it just looks like paint damage. To correct it will require respraying the whole bumper cover. If it’s just paint prep and no dent repair, then probably $750 or so.

If she also kinked that carbon piece at the outside edge, then you'll have to find one of those since it's aftermarket.

I had something similar happen a couple years ago, same spot, same ring. It literally "buffed" right out. Did it myself.

Give it a good cleaning and then re-evaluate. Looks dirty, so hard to tell exactly what is damage and what is dirt.

I'm with Luftpost. It's very difficult to tell what is what. It appears to me, former professional detailer, that most of that will buff out though. I do see what could be paint damage (down to primer) at the headlight washer? If that is the case, then yes; you'll need to have the entire bumper painted. Again, it's just difficult to see what you have from that pic.

Since it costs $150 for a plumber to come out and diagnose plus the cost of the repair I estimate $2250 to fix your car. I also suggest you complete an accident report and file with the local PD and your insurance company.

No parking space is SAFE

Agree with Opie55, low speed scuff, buff that out and see what the real damage is.

look for wrinkles in the paint, especially if it's triple stage.
i would be more worried about the light assembly shifting

$400 by me in Marina Del Rey to respray the entire bumper w/ triple stage

Check the plastics under the bumper as well. Mine are all broken, and I don't remember hitting anything.
