B58 Vanos Soleniod Valve

Has anyone experienced an error code 130715 (Vanos Solenoid valve; inlet: Camshaft jammed)? The vehicle has 41k and I have already replaced the Intake Vanos actuator.

I am unfamiliar with whether or not this issue is related (Camshaft jammed) to the Valvetronic server motor.

I ended up towing my 2019 G32 to a local BMW Dealer and having them look at it.

Wanted to Update this thread... Car went to the dealership for rough idle... Car came back fom the dealership with a rough idle.

Dealership diagnosis - The oil filter was staving the engine for oil.. (No codes tho!!). the car will need a new motor...($$25K -- the car is worth 30K)

Its looking this will be the end of the BMW experience for me ��

That's pretty shocking for the type of mileage you've done. How does an oil filter starve the engine of oil, must be quite the failure. Haven't heard of other B58s having the same issue so I wonder if it's an issue that may become more prevalent. Has the car been serviced at a BMW dealer through its life?

I brought the car Aug. 23 from what seemed to be a reputable dealer. it wasn't meant to be my daily driver, so I've only put about 2k miles on it. For the life of me I can't figure out why this car with its gazillion sensors never threw a code or anything. It just started idling roughly.

To say that I'm disappointed, would be a huge understatement!!
