Paint bubbling on GC ?

Hello gents,

Anyone experiencing any bubbling/ flaking of paint on the bumpers ?
40k miles
Garage kept

To my knowledge my car has never see the inside of a paint booth, as the CarMax and a few body shops have confirmed.

I have some small bubbling on the rear bumper, and the front bumper is flaking pretty bad. Any suggestions, Pictures attached

I have a dealership appointment in the morning for an oil change where they will also be looking into this further.

I’m going to say that it was a repaint despite what you have been told. That is a classic bad prep before a respray job.

Normally i would agree, but I'm 99 % sure this isn't a respray

DerekZ4 is probably correct. Note that at the import terminal they might have repainted them if they were damaged during shipping from Germany. The factory paint does not bubble like that.

Yeap, confirmed from dealership, was resprayed when it hit the dealership, damaged in shipping. Glad I had them pull the previous invoices.
