Quickjack for the 6 Series.

Haven’t seen this mentioned here, so thought I would.
As I found when I got my 6, raising via floor jack (even a very low profile one) is not straightforward.
I took measurements and the Quickjack looked as if it would be a straightforward lift.

It was.

One does have to get a set of the pinch weld blocks for the rail is slightly shorter than the distance between the lift points. (An accessory from Quickjack).

Worked like a charm.

Couple of pics lifting my X5.
First lift pic is at first locking position for a tire change.
Second lift pick is at second lock position, full height at about 19 inches.
I back up my full height lift with stands when I go under.

Those have such a narrow footprint it almost looks unstable. You'd definitely need a smooth surface to use those.
