3 Years with F06

So after four 3ers, I had gotten into a loaded 640xi, thanks to a unicorn leasing situation on an executive lease. She went back to the dealer last week, and I really did enjoy the car. I've attached some pics below. After three years, here are some thoughts about the car...

Positives

F06 was one of my favorite all-time body styles. A real head turner!
Car rode beautifully.
Nappa leather was really soft to the touch and beautiful.
Soft-close doors were a nice addition.

Negatives

Car was a bit too low to the ground for my taste.
MSport front air dam was too low and scraped the pavement when going up steep inclines. Like my driveway.
B&O Sound is nowhere near worth almost $4000 as an upgrade. HK Sound is virtually as good.
Rear window visibility is limited.

So I'm back in a 3er - a new G20, and I am enjoying this car too. Nimble handling, and while not as luxurious as the F06, BMW has upped the game and the new iDrive is pretty slick.

Congratulations on the new ride!

The 6 GC is a wonderful BMW, and certainly one of the most luxurious. But there are definitely times I miss the nimble nature of a smaller car. You'll enjoy that with your new 3-series!

Likewise, its sporty character does make it a bit impractical at times (e.g. low ride height), especially in the northeast where roads and entry/exit ways are often not flat. But then again, it does look beautiful.
