Ive dropped mine on H&Rs and spacers on the back are essential, it looks wrong otherwise. I went for 15mm on the rear. Still standard on the front but I would consider getting some

you can run 12-15mm front and 15-20mm rear. on the stock wheels which i had on for 1-2 months i ran 12mm front and 15 mm rear, car was lowered on h&r springs, there was still room if i wanted to run 15 and 20mm, this is assuming you're running oem wheels sizes and offsets. you need H&R sport springs 28947-4

Comfort-wise I cant notice a difference. But it feels so much more planted on the road.
I noticed a huge difference on windy days, before the handling was effected badly at motorway speed but now it sticks to the road. Handling in general is improved and obviously it looks so much better |

Those are for 6 GC and 5 series only. The coupes need the 28947-4. Spring rates are different. There's a guy in the classifieds selling the 28947-4 for cheap if you're interested.

I got AC Schnitzer lowering springs for my x-drive and I have 10mm spacers rear and 5mm front. It is perfect, ride is still excellent and it does´t look too low.
