How long do tire pressure sensors last?

my 2013 started telling me I have low tire pressure, but all 4 tires have 35 psi. I even bumped it up to 38 and I still get the annoying low pressure warning.

Is it something in the coding or I just need new sensors?

Did you reset it in the iDrive menu?

Well I did hit "OK" to get rid of the warning on the main screen, but still had the little warning under the speedometer. And on restart a little later it was back. So I should go further into Idrive to reset I guess, did not remember that step, thanks. On my two other cars, the warning just went away on its own after filling the tires

Gotta initialize the TPMS after you get a check control warning and re-inflate the tires. If you inflate the tires before the warning goes off...then you don't have to initialize (if you don't want to). But the system will continue to operate on whatever the last specs were when the system was initialized. Initializing/resetting the system when you reinflate/adjust the tires establishes a current base to operate with.
