650 Polish and Ceramic coat protection coming soon

afternoon all,

my Shark is booked in for a paint correction, polish and ceramic coat in 2 weeks. I'm looking forward to seeing the results. I know its pretty good now and presents well, however some people are saying to me why are you spending all that money on it. I think it needs the clear corrected there are marks and imperfections I cannot removed myself with my elbow grease and Maguiers polishes. Being Sapphire Black every little mark on the clear coat I notice.
has anyone else had ceramic coat put on their 650's? were you impressed with the results?

You'll never regret the benefits of a ceramic coat. I went with Kamikaze ISM and it's still stunning and beading after two full years.

Got The Shark back from its paint correction/ buff and ceramic coating protection today. The detailers had it for a few days and I missed it!
What a difference ! The sapphire black paint work is so deep, lustrous and mark free now......really pops in the sunshine more than it did. I’m very very happy with the result.

No I don’t mind at all sharing. Keep in mind I’m in Sydney Australia so I’m not sure what the rates would be in US. Cheaper I would think?

The whole package was 2k. Wash, detail, paint correction , final buff polish and then the ceramic coat. They gave me the microfibre wash mit and the special drying towels I need to use from now on too. As my car is always garaged it doesn’t sit outside much it should keep the lustre for ages. It’s got a 7 year guarantee.
of course I have to look after it properly and I can get annual ceramic coats for 200 per year if needed. It basically means I don’t have to hand polish my car again which is fine by me. Just wash each week which I do now and that’s it!. The water beeding is extraordinary.

Yep I will upload pics soon guys , I can say I was sceptical.... but if you have a dark colour like black or blue gosh it’s looks good and I just was never going to be able to improve the paint work by hand polishing they way this has!

Thanks for sharing your story and prices. I think it does vary from location to location. But it's good to know a general range.

I’m not sure the pictures do it justice but in real life it’s very obvious. The deep gloss and mirror like shine is beautiful. The water beading is phenomenal! Totally worth it IMO.
