anyone having issues with trying to attach images from their phone? It says to use the attachment clip button, but there isn't one on the screen.

The attachment paperclip shows up on my Samsung S7 when I hit 'reply' to a post - are your screens much different than these?

Issues:

Repeated "maintenance" notifications when trying to navigate forums which are resolved by hitting back button. (Seems to occur more often when using Wi-Fi)

Unable to post/view files.

Is the read history supposed to sync between the web and the app? It may be a PEBKAC but I don't seem to have any read history in the app ie. "New posts" includes everything.

It's slick, but why make your own thing when Tap A Talk works so well with many forums.

Android app crashes on first launch pretty regularly. Second launch it works fine...

As iOS users have done to help make the iOS app slick and smooth, I encourage giving a detailed complaint about crashes ( what was being done, clicked, where, screen capture) which will help us fix the crashes.

The good thing about android is that after you send me a crash complaint I can literally have it fixed and in the store in a day

Ok I just released version 4.3.1 (not 4.3.0), it should fix crashes on the Galaxy S8.

Can anyone with an S8/S8+ comment if the graphics on the news section are still high quality for you?

Not a S8, but I have a S6 (and had the slowness / crashing.) My initial guess was a memory leak as after it crashed, I had very low ram left.

Newest update is much smoother and so far, no crashes. I'll play around more.

Edit. Crashed again, I did a "send feed back" this time.

I basically do the "new post" view. After reading 4 or 5 threads, when I "back" out to the listing of new threads, it crashes on me.

Thanks. Very helpful. Going to look into this and hopefully fix it tonight.

Ps you are correct about the crash on the previous version. It had to do with unnecessarily large images taking up all the memory because of a mistake in how the screen size was calculated on the galaxy devices.

Latest version seems to be better now. Haven't had a crash or any weird symptoms so far

Edit. It crashed right when I pressed submit. Sent the error logs over

I was also having a lot of hard times with the last big update - crashed about 5-7 seconds into opening any forum thread and navigating any screen (Home screen, forum list screen, threads, etc.) was very laggy and unstable.

Since 4.3.2 the lag issues are completely gone from all screens, however I still run into the occasional app crash when viewing large threads (either a lot of posts or contain multiple images).

Using a Samsung S6. If it's worth anything, prior to the last big update (I guess 4.3.0?) I experienced no crashing issues.

I also can't isolate when/why it happens, but I keep running into a glitch where the back button overlaps with the menu button and makes it difficult to select "Back"

I appreciate the time and effort that everyone has clearly put into this app. However, here is some UX feedback.

The app repeatedly loses my login and I have to log back in.

Logging in UX isn't exactly polished.

PM/inbox doesn't allow me to reply reliably (either fails inelegantly or sends with no confirmation, while remaining on the text box screen)
