Driver side headrest rattle

I have a rattle in my head rest on the driver side.

Are we able to remove the headrest so I can get rid of the annoying rattle whenever I'm on rough roads?

F06 US ventilated seats btw.

I’m just going to ask, are you sure it’s not coming from the trim panel just below the B pillar?

Positive it is not. When I lightly thump the head rest it sounds like two loose pieces of metal hitting each other (higher pitch rattle)
