Considering AMG GLE 63S Coupe to replace my M6 GC
So the time has come to move onto the world of SUVs. Growing family, etc.
I wanted to ask the community if anyone has any experience with the GLE 63S AMG. I test drove it recently, and that exhaust note is Any input appreciated. |

why not X5M?
Why not just buy a standard SUV and keep the M6? No SUV will feel the same as driving a performance car. That's what I do. I have a X5d as my family car. Cheap, reasonably reliable, familiar, and all the intangibles of driving a BMW.

I've had the M6 for 3 yrs, depreciation for tax purposes is nil, plus with limited parking at my condo, no room for 3 cars. If I can get an SUV over 6000 lbs, I can write off $25K for tax write off as a business expense. I like the X5M but I like the GLE AMG 63S Coupe more; especially with that AMG exhaust. We'll see.

Ended up trading in my M6 GC for a '16 X5M. I considered the GLE AMG Coupe but it's just more $ than I want to spend. X5M is no slouch! I'm happy with the purchase.
Here is my car for sale at my local dealership. http://www.bmwofelcajon.com/used-inv...6C9C55EDV73787 |
