Exclamation Unbearable Creaking/Sqeaking noise coming from rear seats/headrest in F12 M6 (video)

I'm experiencing some pretty crazy creaking coming from the interior of my convertible m6. It is more pronounced when the top is up although it still happens when the top is down just not as loud.

It is coming from the rear passenger headrest/the rear seats and the convertible mechanism lid...i took a video. how can i fix this?

Try some Velcro.

Take the loop side (soft side) and wrap the end of the metal post that latches the headrest and see if that helps.

Have the same in my f10 m5. Banging the seat fixes it for a couple of months. (Not even joking)

I had a similar problem with the passenger headrest. Tried many, many things! Silicone lube seems to be the trick.
