M6 Night Vision retrofit possible?
Hey guys,
I have a 2016 BMW M6 Gran Coupe without night vision, i was wondering if it was possible to retrofit night vision to it and how hard it is? I checked online and many people have done it for the f10 I wish bimmertech did it |

If people have done it for the F10, you should contact them regarding who/how/price.
It should be substantially similar for the F06 other than the special M6 grill for the camera mount and maybe a few other physical hardware. The software part should all be the same as the F10. |

It's a pain. Basically you need to find a totaled car and get the parts out of that along with the ECU's to get it working....along with new wiring harnesses and pin modifications. All and all, it sucks to do.

Just curious as to your motive/primary reason for wanting to retrofit the night vision? I have the night vision on my m6 and I rarely ever use it - sometimes I turn it on just to show a passenger but that's about it. Although I'm not sure, I believe the sensor powers a warning for pedestrians and deer/animals at night, which has been slightly helpful on a few occasions.
