"AMEN"
With the completely new gearbox promising lightning quick shifts mating to the re-worked Honda PU I am confident my friend that Max and Checo will give the Merc's a massive headache.

• I heard (inside-info) that MAX feels confident regarding the RB16B .
• Checo is NOT confident , because he struggled to drive the car .
• Checo watched the first test run from MAX and he said : WOW ! He's fast !

The first test drives at Silverstone were in the wet , after the first test run MAX said the RB16B feels completely different .
By the wet he couldn't push the car in the high rpm's . But he felt that the car felt more secure and balanced .
But even in the wet the trottle response was outstanding and the PU felt stronger .
About the super gearbox he didn't said a single word because top-secret .

Of course the MIB bulge remains secret as well ...

With the multi link front arms and re-worked rear it's no surprise that Max said it felt more sure footed and it should help Checo drive it better than was the tricky previous 16 that only Max could muster and Alex finding it was slippery as an eel most of the season

First out and the 77 Merc has gearbox link problems,'slave' BOT had to sit out as the others went around. Max was doing an optimal handling set up rather than going for a quick lap.
