Still good to know that i have and end of line model.[/QUOTE]

So you ordered a Gran Coupe and could not get special order stuff?, if thats the case production is coming to an end soon, I may just hang back now if thats the case , last minute deals on them will be mega, 30% off is available now I checked.

Are these cars they have in stock already? How many new M6s are in the U.K. currently?

Quite frankly you’d need to be mental to buy a new one at this point. They depreciate like a the titanic as it is and with the M8 around the corner youre going to lose thousands on an older model with older tech. If the M8 arrives at a comparable price point you may regret having shelled out so much for a new M6.

Not mention the new road tax rules. Lease maybe but outright purchase? Bonkers.

RWD and DCT might be appealing for some? It is for me.

If you an get one at the right price i think you'll be ok on the basis that you hang on to it for a while, the new replacement will not surface for a while yet.

If anyone in the UK has one built after 17/5/17 I'd love to know the VIN, or at least the first 4 of the last 7 digits! If they are gone, that would enable me to have a complete record of all RHD cars made.

Excellent! If you could send it by PM, something like G798xxx if you don't want to identify the specific car.

You will find the CP vehicle feels more lively and agile than the none CP cars and sound much better too, perhaps not worth the £6k premium though unless you get a deal.

Happy Xmas to the UK M6 Drivers. I sailed through 60k miles this week - loving it - had it 18 months now and have done 33k miles in that time!

Sounds expensive. I've just renewed mine with Bmw for just over a grand ( £1050 iirc) and £100 excess .
