Newbie here! Need advice for the H&R lowering springs and spacers
Hello everyone!
New to the forum and proud owner of the BMW F06 M6 GC Competition package,LCI, model year 2018, colour Individual Ruby Black metallic. My question is about the correct choice of H&R Performance Lowering springs or VTF Adjustable Lowering springs and H&R whell spacers for my car. Car has setup of 20" M light alloy wheels Double-spoke style 343 M, forged, matt black, with mixed tyres. Front: 9.5 J x 20 ET 31 with 265/35 R 20 tyres. Rear: 10.5 J x 20 ET 19 with 295/30 R 20 tyres. Now I'm in doubt which size of H&R wheel spacers would be the most suitable in order to align the edge of the wheels/tires with the edge of the fenders avoiding any rubbing issues? Also which H&R springs you would recommend me as the ideal solution to equalize the edge of the fenders and tires? 1st one lower the car 30mm on front axle and 25mm on rear, 2nd one lower from 40-55mm on front axle and 30-50mm rear. If I can remember correctly, it has been already mentioned here that the 10mm spacers on front and 12mm on rear axle are way2go. Your right answers with suggestions would be kindly appreciated. I have a 2018 as well and went with a KW HAS lowering kit. I didn't bottom it out but dropped it over an inch. I have 20" 433 wheels with 10mm spacers all around. I'd do 12mm rear if I had to do it all over again but their isn't much difference. I have no scrubbing issues and the car still rides very well. The car sits perfectly IMO and any more drop doesn't help the looks any.

Regarding the spacers I think I'll go at the end with a spacers combination 10mm FA /12mm RA. In the meantime if I get the desired lowering height of the car with fixed springs then I will go with H&R Performance Lowering springs and 30mm /25mm drop on front & rear axle. |

I’d say 15mm wheel spacers all around or F15/R18 with H&R on “OEM wheels and tires only.” Super flush look with no rubbing. But then, you gotta change your wheel spacers again if you decided to go with 275/35 and 305/30 (for traction purposes) in the future. You might want to think about that as a consideration.
