Looks great - commented on your pic on the fender thread, too - looks very nice. The 6GC is truly the most beautiful car BMW has made in many years. The last BMW that looked this good was the E38 7-series.
I think they missed the boat on the new 8 and 8GC.

I was sad to see the end of the f06/f12/f13 6 series because the 8 series vert & coupe (G14/G15) are okay...but they don't make me "pine" for one. But the recent release pics of the 8GC (G16?)...aren't that bad. I like the roofline of the GC much better than the 2dr coupe. I do miss the Hofmeister kink, though...not sure why the BMW designers are dropping it. I do wonder what it will look like "in the flesh". It appears that the 8GC may have (at least one of them) sunroof panels that will open instead of just tilt.

The new 8 does not wow me either. Like the designers said,"well, we need to make this look different than a 6, so let's just put some sharp angles and corners on it." In person that shelf in the rear bumper below the license plate seems huge. It will be covered in dirt and grit after a mile.

I did not PPF it - yet. The body shop, Beverly Coachcraft, which did an excellent job, btw, was a bit iffy on whether or not to do it, but told me to give the paint a couple of weeks before applying PPF if I wanted to go with it.
