Pull or not to pull?

Cut or not to cut? I saw this thread coming out at a seam on the rear seat.

I would not pull it. If it were me, I'd take a pair of tiny sharp scissors and cut it off close, then I would probably take a tiny dab of fabric glue on the tip of the toothpick and put it on the cut end so it will not fray.

Not sure if they would do anything but I was thinking about showing it to the dealer just in case it comes apart after my warranty expires.
It doesn't look like the seam is compromised.
