Cluster - Current Gear Indicator

A month or so ago, I had a friend do some coding via Bimmercode. While we went over everything one-by-one and took care of all I'd wanted I've noticed that somehow, my current gear indicator (showing which gear I'm in at any given time) has disappeared from the gauge cluster. I've done some searching and at best (for other cars), I've found that SPA_IST_GANG_ENABLE should be toggled to nicht_aktiv. Having done so and coded it myself, I'm still not seeing the gear indicator.

Anyone know if I'm looking in the wrong place or if I need to toggle another option? It's not a deal breaker but I'd like to have it back haha.

Also, might it be possible to use Bimmercode to code out the SOS function as well as the TPMS?

It seams from the name that that should be enabled. Loosely translated it means "gear is".

it's set to enabled as it sits but i see nothing. i've coded it to nicht_aktiv with no change, plus back to aktiv - with it still being blank. i'm thinking there might be something else that would need to be enabled/disabled in conjunction?

Is it an I-Drive setting in the automatic? I have a stick and seeing the gear isn't an option, but I can toggle off and on several options in the cluster view settings.
