It's not an "optional" feature...but I do like that the GC's rear seats fold down. When you need that extra carrying space...the option to fold down the rear seats is a really nice feature.

My 640 coupe is fully loaded except the B&O and night vision. I have to say the HK in my 6 sounds great. What's the difference between the 2 if you don't mind me asking?

Hard to say how they sound different unless you compare them side by side, but the B&O looks cool - solid aluminum speaker covers, ambient lighting around the speakers, and the center speaker that rises up from the dash when you turn it on. I am not an audiophile so if blindfolded I doubt I could tell you which system was playing.

I had B&O in my F06 650i. When that car got totaled and I was looking for a new one, I wanted to know if I could live without B&O and so I rented an F06 M6 on Turo which had HK.

Now it could have been this particular guy's speakers, but I found that the HK system didn't have as much clarity at high volumes. Everything started to sound more muddled than with the B&O.

B&O is really awesome. It's like how you can ask the car for more power when you're already at 80mph and the car says no problem hold onto your hat.

But if you don't crank your volume to 150mph it may not matter so much.

Red leather interior, HUD, 360° camera to fine tune parking based on the parking lines.

Heated seats are also nice; ventilated seats i found to be useless. Side front cameras were also useless to me - activated them the other day by accident and thought to myself "oh, that's right, i have that option too".

Funny that you find the front cameras useless. I tend to use mine quite often. I like the yellow guide that prevents you from destroying your front end.

Seems like there are only two optional extras that my car didn't come with: The upgraded stereo and heated steering wheel. Of those, I'd take the heated steering wheel over the stereo.

You have night vision and active roll bars?

As for night vision, there will be a camera mounted in your driver's side grill and a button with a moon icon on it in the row of buttons below the headlight switch. As for active sway bars/anti-roll bars, if you know what a sway bar looks like - a round steel bar about the diameter of a nickel that runs from one side to the other between your wheels - in cars with active sway bars the bar is not continuous - there is a motor in the middle about the size of a can of baked beans. If you have a smooth bar with no motor in the middle, then you don't have it. You can see it easily if you get on your hands and knees. Or you can decode your VIN online. All cars have active dampers standard, but if you also have active sway bars, the active damper item will not be separately listed, and instead there will be a line item called Adaptive Drive that includes both.

Cool. I will check when I get the car back from the shop. That's another story...

What's your favourite, and what is a waste of cash?
I can tell you one option I wish was better… the multi contour seats. Really should be a massaging seat, not just 2 little bags on the bottom that inflate your butt cheeks.

Yeah, it is kinda useless and comical to tell people to try it ("That's so weird!"). On long road trips I use it sometimes I think mostly to alleviate boredom.
