Post Your Aggressive Fitments
If anyone can post pictures and specs of their aggressive fitments on our 6 series (non-M6) I would greatly appreciate it!
I know this topic has been talked about before but I think it would be beneficial to have information and pictures under one thread. I will post more setups as I find them! Current setup: 373M Wheels with 20mm spacers all around 20x8.5 ET33 (+13 effective) 20x9 ET44 (+24 effective) Continental ExtremeContact DWS A/S 245/35/20 F 275/30/20 R Very flush all around with no issues whatsoever. Stock suspension except last picture front is lower 1.2", will lower rear 1.2" eventually. I'm looking for a more aggressive setup next year and would like some feedback: 21x9 ET20 21x10.5 ET20 (or ET40 with 5-10mm spacer) Michelin Pilot Sport 4s 245/30/21 Front 285/25-30/21 Rears According to https://www.willtheyfit.com/ the fronts will poke 0.6mm which I will be okay with. Is it possible to fit 10.5 +20 in the rears with some tire stretch and slight negative camber? Will it look dumb? I believe it is nearly the same as the M6 343M rears. Rears will poke 23.1mm (0.9") more than my current setup. With ET40, they will poke 3.1mm and I can add spacers...but wheel will have less concavity. Probably answered my own question and is smarter/safer to go with ET40 and add spacers if needed. Last edited by itzjoker; 09-29-2020 at 09:46 AM.. |

Here is mjd41985's setup. Hope you don't mind me posting it here.
ADV.105 21x9.5 ET26 21x10.5 ET26 Michelin Pilot Super Sports 245/30/21 F 295/25/21 R Lowered on Eibach springs, no issues with front. Occasional rub on rears. 21x10.5 ET20 would poke 6mm more. Should have less tire wall with 285/25/21. Think I can get away with this? Last edited by itzjoker; 09-29-2020 at 09:51 AM.. |

Since you asked....I personally think the specs you desire will indeed look "dumb." Extreme stretch w/negative camber will also look dumb (IMO), especially in a car such as this. Some of the threads you posted of other cars w/aggressive fitments look good. The silver coupe pokes out just a bit but I would absolutely not recommend even 1mm more aggressive than that.

Does the Gran Coupe (F06) and the Coupe (F12 / F13) both share the same amount of clearance in the rear? So if a wheel can fit a gran coupe, it should also be able to fit a coupe?

ACS Type 3-Racing 20x9.5/10.5 w/ 255/40 and 275/30
Just fitted these last night. Stock suspension. 15mm spacer upfront and no spacer at the back. Happy with it.
