Looking To Buy A Front Rim For M6!!

Whatsup guys, so since the m6 doesnt come with a spare tire and I changed my run flats to regular tires I'm looking to buy a 20" or 19" front rim for M6 in case a get a flat tire, I'm only interested in a front rim (9" width) since the back rim (10" width) won't fit in the front and front rim will obviously fit in the front and back ... let me know if anyone has a rim they want to sell it, rim doesnt have to be in great condition, just has to get me home in case of a flat tire, thanks

Why not just get a flat repair kit and pump? I have plugged tires multiple times while on the road. Beats ruining the whole day and getting the car towed. I got a flat, pulled over, plugged the tire and kept on going for 2 days until i got to a shop that installed a patch.

Huh? You sure you're staying with same rolling diameter when you put the front on the rear?

what do you mean by rolling diameter? Im just looking to have a spare tire (not drive with it) that fits in the front as well as the back in case I get a flat so at least I can drive home few miles ...
SoCalM6, that is an option but only if u get a screw or nail in your tire but if your rims cracks or your tire has a tear and your solution wont help ... I feel that having a spare tire is the best, 10min and tire changed

The rolling diameters or aka circumference (wheel + tire +air) for the front wheels and back wheels are not the same. You have a 35 spec front tire and 30 spec rear tire on a 20 inch wheel, meaning your fronts are overall longer in circumference or in other words "taller" when you stand a rear tire against a front tire.

Going straight, a taller tire will turn less times than a shorter tire over the same distance. What happens when you put a taller tire on the left axel and a shorter tire on the right axel is that your differential's gearing will have to accommodate for the difference, or in other words, it's going to fuck up your expensive $5k M differential in the rear or the open differential in the front.

Perhaps I don't really know what the error factor is for mismatched diameters on the same axel. If I am wrong, someone please correct me.

Anyways, your purpose will only cover you in 33% of your flat scenarios. If you hold a front as a spare, then it's only purpose is to be used when you have a flat front tire. But what if you get a flat in the rear?

Also, you're okay carrying a 50 lb weight in your trunk the entire time?

Do you know the tire sizes? I didn't mean to scare OP. I know staggered setup cars can run factory spares. But the spares are usually less than a certain percentage of difference in diameter.

You should go to the Tirerack website, select your tires, and check the front/back variance. For example, assuming you are running MPS4s (in the sizes listed above), the revolutions per mile are 755 front/764 rear. That's just over 1%. You'll be fine.

I’m sure they had to make it close especially the Merc is AWD , I know if sizes are incorrect the AWD system goes bonkers
