Retro fit ski hatch
Hello,
Please can anyone advise if it is possible to retro fit the ski hatch in an f13? I have an aug 17 build 640d m sport coupe in sonic speed blue (19" wheels) as attached pictures. Had the car for just over 6 months and so far has been everything I wanted and still looking for excuses to go for a drive! Many thanks |

It's not listed on the official retrofits, but with the parts from a donor car it should be pretty simple.
PS, that colour is amazing! |

What is interesting is...if you look up the f13 6 series ski bag...it has the same part nbr as the ski bag used in the previous generation e63 6 series. But that generation (the e63) is offered with a retrofit kit....which uses the same part nbr as the regular ski bag. Hmmm.
So, why doesn't the f13 have a retrofit kit if the regular set-up is the same in both generations...and the part nbrs are the same? {f13 ski bag} http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/F1...r_seat_ski_bag {e63 ski bag} http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E6...trofit_ski_bag {e63 retrofit ski bag} http://bmwfans.info/parts-catalog/E6...rofit_ski_bag/

I think you can find something for your car. Try to Google, and I believe that you will find a suitable ski hatch for your vehicle.
By the way, your car is simply amazing. It looks very cool. I especially liked the color. I have also been looking for a ski hatch for my car for a long time. In the end, I just took it off my old car, and it came up. Since I often go skiing resorts, a ski rack was simply necessary. I also plan to start learning to snowboard. It's more complicated than skiing, but I think I can handle it. I wonder if it will be possible to put a snowboard on this rack? __________________________ bluehouseskis.com Last edited by Chananain; 09-08-2021 at 11:32 AM.. |
