What is the offset for 21inch wheels
I'm looking to buy a set of 21 x10 and 21 x12 wheels for my 2015 m6 coupe but I am unsure about the offset .If anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance |

You can use one of the online part databases to look up the actual wheel style number of the wheels you have and it will give you the offset specs for the specific wheels you have. Some online part database sites that you can go to quickly are below. Just type in the last 7 digits of your VIN or select the appropriate info that describes the model/build date etc...then click the BROWSE tab and go to the WHEEL diagrams. Again, if you pull up the wheel diagrams for the F06 M6...check out what the wheel offsets are for the BMW wheels offered...and you'll get an idea of what offsets to look for if shopping for aftermarket wheels:
Or you can use one of the BMW wheel style sites to find you specific wheel...it will give the offset specs (look for ET:_ _):
Or you can use the chart below to see what the allowable wheel offset range is for a particular BMW model...the range is based on the min/max offsets of most of the common/popular wheels for each model. There may be some slight variance either way...for example, I believe the F06 M6 rear wheels have a lower offset (like down to 25mm):

Ex: style 343: https://www.carsaddiction.com/en/wheels/bmw/style-343 Decide how much more you want the wheels closer to the outer edge of the fender. If you were to purchase spacers, what size would you get for the look that you want. Then use this calculator https://www.willtheyfit.com/ Ex: F06 spec 343 wheels on my vehicle Front 20x9 et31 + 12MM spacer = et19 Rear 20x10.5 et19 + 15MM spacer = et04 Again this is for an F06. Not sure if F12 has wider fenders It's best to do your own measurements by putting spacers on your car 1st & see if you like the look or if you will have rubbing issues w/ or w/o passengers. Suspension height & wheel alignment setting should be considered |
