When in neutral, my car won’t rev above 4k!...anyone know how to change this?

I think this is intentional... Why would you need to change that?

rpm locked at 4k, you need flash tune to go more thank 4K rpm...

I noticed this also. My M4 was able to rev all the way. Not with the M6 tho. Flash tune should change this

I had an issue with this as well, but got a tune from BPMsports and now the car is able to rev all I want in neutral. I don't do it often though... but i do downshift a lot to enjoy the growl.

Is this confirmed for all f12/13 M6 cars? Can someone confirm that when in Neutral the engine will not rev above 4K rpm?

I think it depends on the market, seen some youtube videos where they can rev it in neutral to the redline.

I don’t think any UK cars will do though.

My one is a pre facelift.

I've noticed mine stop at 4K... other times it goes all the way up. Probably related to engine temp, but not sure. Maybe try different modes?

My car does rev all the way to redline on Neutral. It only has Dinan tune (piggyback).
