Does not look too bad

And I can see that you've made some 'mud guarding' by yourself, these Maxton pieces helps a bit. I've done small plastic 'flaps' to front but back saved with bookfilm ifyouknowwhatImean

Flashed Bootmod3 Stage 1. I was grinning and laughing like a little kid on the test drive after.

I finally was able to pair a remote to the car so I could open the garage door. I could never get it to pair with my newer 3 button remote, so I tried it with one of the single button remotes that originally came with the opener and success.

How was the install? And how much did it cost in total?

Any reliability concerns now that you are putting more stress on the components?

I wonder how it feels compared to the N55. I know when I went stage 2 e30 I couldn’t stop smiling and wish I did it sooner.

It’s pretty straight forward. Have a battery charger in hand for sure. As far as cost you can get it from someone selling it 2nd hand or thru PTF website.

What have I done to my 6 Series today? Nothing.

As I have done yesterday and as I will do tomorrow. It is perfect as is.

Pretty simple! Lots of errors popping up on the iDrive during the actual flash, but all ended up fine! I bought it second hand a bit under half of the new cost.

The errors are supposed to happen. All part of the process. Glad you enjoy your bm3 experience!

Yeah I assumed so, just hadn’t read up much on it or that that was usual, so I was 95% sure it was fine but 5% thinking “hmm this doesn’t seem good.”

I was at 55mph on the way home today and nailed the gas and the traction control light flashed. Crazy!

Angry

Drove mine into a rock.

It took little if no skill.. the rock was flung up by a lorry in front of me. I casually, yet with little attention, lined the rock's trajectory up perfectly with my passenger-side headlamp assembly....

So well did I do this, that not only did it crack the F out of the headlamp assembly, but the rock also damaged the DLRs and they failed with a code. I think the rock is rattling around inside now.

Looking at the parts cost online... I might even turn this into insurance. F!

Installed 4" tips. Some people said it's necessary to buy M6 exhaust to fit 4" tips. My welding guy fitted them to original 650i exhaust and VALVES WORKS.

More photos of next mods soon on my IG: aesthetic.m6
