‘12 650i xDrive, M sport, Immaculate! 34K miles-Price drop!
Hard to imagine there’s a cleaner example, anywhere. Carbon Black Metallic with Black Nappa Leather. M-Sport, xDrive Never been in salt or snow, rarely ever in rain. Exact opposite of a daily driver. I bought this last year from a childhood friend that lives in Tennessee, and I have done cosmetic modifications only. He took immaculate care of it. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I put brand new Michelin Pilot 4s, and Espos powder coated M-style wheels with Burgers spacers. Tom@Espos is as good as they get. I ceramic coated the inside and outside of all wheels before reinstalling them. Meticulous service record from Roadshow BMW in Tennessee with all documentation, clean Carfax, 100% accident and dent free. Runs so well. Any questions or info, feel free to ask. If I had a car that clean and low miles I'd probably try listing on Bring a Trailer. I think your price is probably a bit high given how used car prices have plummeted lately, but BAT is a good place to get the highest you will reasonably get. Listing for a seller is pretty cheap.

If you do go to BaT or C/B I'd be interested to hear about your experience. I looked into it recently and both places will not list your car if you don't agree to a low reserve, BaT (and maybe C/B to a lesser extent) may not take your car at all no matter how nice it is just because they get so many, and I hear that even if BaT does agree, it will be 6-8 weeks before your auction goes live. It's a good place to get top dollar (usually), but it's not a place for risk-averse people. Just from what I've read, they might not agree to anything more than a $20k reserve on your car. But I'd be curious to know.

Good questions!
I started an inquiry with cars and bids a few weeks ago. They were more than happy to list the 650i with a reserve just a bit below my current asking. It’s a bit lower than I would like to accept, but that’s the risk if you go the auction route. They couldn’t offer too much advice because of the low miles and condition, no pool of comparables. I was going to give it till about June 1 and if it doesn’t sell by then, it’ll go to C&B auction. |
