Full screen car play

So … pretty excited here. Did some asking around when I first got my M6 to see if I can get Apple CarPlay fullscreen and was told that it requires a lot of coding and downloading an older OS, gigabytes of data, some special cable, laptop, remote access, hundreds of dollars, so on.

Not so. Using bimmercode -> headunit -> expert mode -> search for CarPlay and you should see something along the lines of CarPlay Fullscreen. Change to Aktiv. Done. I shouldn’t be this excited about it but I am

No issues at all. Everything else runs like it should.

This is just to enable fullscreen CarPlay (I.e., you need to have CarPlay already).

Would be nice to add CarPlay to my 2013 without spending more than maybe $200ish, since I don't drive it more than maybe 5-6 times a month. Looks great on yours!
