BMW M6 Headlight Lens Replacement

Okay so I know many of you are asking for this and there is no supplier.

I have found a manufacture to make the headlight lens but one problem I need samples.

I have the driver side (off extra headlight I had )

I need the passenger side lens, aslong as it’s not severely broken.

I just need sample so they can duplicate them.

Will pay for sample/work something out.

Yes, but recommend that you find a reputable headlight boutique that could show you examples of previous jobs. 95% of that industry doesn't think its a problem to butcher $3000+ headlight.

LCI (life cycle impulse) is what BMW calls the updates it does to a car's generational platform at the mid-point through their life cycles. It is also referred to as "facelift". So pre-facelift/pre LCI refers to the debut of a new model...and halfway through that models production is the facelift/LCI models that get some type of cosmetic refresh and/or updated features.

The pre LCI F06/F12/F13 6 series are model years 2011-2015. The website you linked us to clearly states there are no lenses for these models. But it does appear to have replacement lenses for the previous generation 6 series...the e63/e64.

Any update on this? I'd love to either do the lci conversion or change the lens out.

Hang on, wasn't there some minor change between 2016MY and 2017MY headlights? I know the LCI took effect in 206 and moved to full LED but I thought they made something standard that was optional on the 2016?

Maybe I'm wrong, just want to confirm?
