2014 M6 GC Comp

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
USD 39,999.00

Item Interest
I change cars like I change my underwear, so up for sale is my 2014 M6 Gran Coupe. I bought it in December to replace my Rs7. I have the desire to get back into an E9X M3 to get that naturally aspirated V8 sound I miss so dearly. There's nothing wrong with the M6, in fact, I find it the E90 M3 big brother. It responds in a similar fashion, with a shit ton more power and luxury. I am meticulous about my cars, you can pull up my E90 build thread to see the level of detail I go to, to ensure the utmost care. I never created a build thread for the M6 simply because it is so clean and I've kept mods modest to maintain drivability. And, lets be honest, these cars are phenomenal out of the box. I'm the second owner, carfax shows me as 3 but the original owner leased then bought it out. Its been in Fort Lauderdale area its entire life, meticulously maintained at BMW until I purchased it, which I use Eurowerks and Meister Motoring to do all my maintenance and modifications. Upon purchase, I did a fresh oil change and a thorough look over. The shop didn't see one thing it needed, so I drove it until the itch for more power arouse. I did eBay downpipes and a BM3 tune. Also at the time of the tune, I did 2 step colder plugs gapped tighter with new BMW coil packs, purchased from FCP Euro for their lifetime warranty. Car is Ceramic Coated. The M6 needs nothing! Get in and drive!

Outstanding looking car, Space Gray was my top color choice when looking for my car but I just couldn't find any. I'll say GLWS but you probably don't even need it, this car will make someone very happy

Thank you! It popped up locally when I was looking and it was tooooo clean to let go. I lost more money on my Rs7 on the trade-in just to get it hahaha

Great price for a beautiful, perfectly specc'd vehicle. You should get what you're asking, but may just have to hold out a little due to the unprecedented market. I have the same model/year/mileage/options and am watching your sale with great interest. GLWS!

I realize there's a few factors in today's market. One, people not having the money and two, sellers may be desperate FOR money. That said, I'm neither. I'm super blessed and fortunate to not have lost a dime during this pandemic. I literally was just offered $32k. It's crazy people think I'll just knock off $8k on a $40k car.

Absolutely stunning car and color combination, most of my previous cars have been grey, with the exception of my current GC because of their rarity.
Not to hijack your thread but would you recommend the Nuna as a good infant convertible? Was looking myself, trying to narrow down some options. Best of luck with the sale!

We have the Nuna convertible now only because the daycare is retarded with no logic and won't take the carrier of our nuna car seat when we take my daughter in. So, they will take my daughter inside after sitting in the car seat but not the actual car seat. 🤦🏼*♂️🤦🏼*♂️🤦🏼*♂️🤦🏼*♂️🤦🏼*♂️

That said, yes, I do suggest this convertible. She really likes having the leg rest and you can adjust how reclined it is, which for her helps with car rides. It also provides more room for the passenger since it's more compact than the carrier/base combo

Just objective feedback. I don't think it's totally crazy for someone offer 32. They're basically offering you slightly above wholesale. I think the dealers would probably offer you slightly less. Wholesale last year for your car would have been 36k.

I think your asking price is very fair, especially given that you say the car is in great condition with almost every option. But supply is high and demand is low and it's a buyer's market. When a buyer who wants exactly your car comes along, they will pay a price that both of you would agree is a fair, I'm sure.

I have a dealer offering 35,700 on trade in. So while I agree wholesale auction prices may be low there's something to be said about that offer and the quality of the car. Not disagreeing with you but 32k isn't retail, so if that's what they have they can buy one at auction with unknown condition and maintenance, at least that's how I feel hahaha cause it's my car of course

Agreed, 32k is ridiculous. That's a great car that should sell at asking price with those options and maintenance records.

That is a great offer from a dealer. The dealer must think they can retail it for mid 40's. Maybe they have some buyers in mind? Again, your pricing is good for a loaded M6 in good condition. But people can easily find a decent M6 for mid 30's all day currently and I think those are the people who are making the 32k offers. Just providing insight into the thought process of someone offering low 30's, that's all... Now back to work

The only 2014 M6s Ive seen less than mine either have way more miles or no comp pack. I have had more 35-36 offers, only one 32k offer.

Any price between $35-40k for the buyer is great for your M6. The 32K offer was someone who thought it was a must sell asap car. The people who offered 35-36K should have negotiated if they really wanted this car. This is, after all, a car that was $125k+!

I always find the psychology behind buying/selling interesting. GLWS!!

Mid 30s - would that be wholesale?
A cursory search on autotrader shows eight gran coupes under $40k.

Two are under $35k (one has 100k miles, one has accident damage).
The next five are over 60k miles, and/or with accident damage.
The last car is OPs!

I think it's very competitively priced and I think you're right that a dealership would expect to list this at $45k, hence the 37+ trade-in offer.

Anyway enough about the price, best of luck to OP, I'm sure you'll get what you're looking for
