The reason I said 2014 was because I've been looking at the updated headlights and the digital dash. I check everyday on AT, ebay, Pistonheads, but seems to be the same tat for sale lol
Also I don't want any light coloured interiors like cream or a black car. My OCD is mental
Red ones look the nicest but not many LCIs around under £15k budget without moon miles. I got until Jan to find one as my daily beater Polo will be going to scrap heaven.

hi.
yes red (fiona red) interior are lovely but very rare.
my ivory nappa leather is unmarked at 75k miles.
the digital dash was optional from 2011 to 2015 then standard on lci late 2015 onwards
im not sure about headlghts..mine are adaptive led..i think they were an option on lci models only..i could be wrong.
i really like my pano roof and heated steering wheel.
one thing that confuses the issues are there is sometimes over a year between production date (sticker on drivers pillar) (build date) and registration date..my mate has a 67 reg that was built in march 2016...
the independant specialist i use has 2 x 640ds of his own..one for his wife..one has 170k miles the other 140k miles..both remapped and nothing out of the ordinary maintenance has gone wrong..both had power forte machine inlet manifold and dpf clean..
mine is individual tanzanite blue, but the paintwork can not be matched.i now have 11 different spray outs from pro spray, max mayer, bmw glasurite.de beers.ect from paint code and scanners and non can match the violet flip...non are even close enough to fade out and blend.
i changed my 20" wheels for 19" and fitted non run flat kumho ps91 tyres..awesome now.
biggest issue with 640s is service schedule dictates 19,000 miles between oil changes ! far too long..
you really need to sit in comfort seats..far superior .
i have had 3 640ds over 7 years...not at same time.
its such a shame 840d went mild hybrid after 2 years then scrapped the next year.
after my remap i get approx 55mpg on motorway at 70mph and approx 34mpg round town...average is 41 to 42 mpg..remap put approx 2 mpg on..
indepent specialist had his remapped to 395bhp approx 70k miles ago,and drives it hard and has had zero issues with engine/drivetrain ect.
if you get one and live in uk first thing to do is replace the "yellow grommet" in the engine bay and modify the cover...2 out of 3 of mine leaked bad.

120k miles I've put 70k of them on it in the last 7 years.

Great car, but has had a few common issues. Comfort access handles have started failing, it's developed a very frustrating vibration under braking so changing out most of the front suspension. I've had both rear springs snap, the right side recently triggering me to switch out for BC racing coil overs as I assumed the shocks were due a change (they were almost shot). I also had the small plastic water pipe split and fish or all its coolant. Cheap fix but requires the inlet manifold off, so have that a good clean at the same time.

Can't fault the car, still pulls hard and is happy to be treated with a heavy right foot.

with those sort of miles the components must be worn and tired, not lightweight cars either.
I've see SE models with alot less miles for similar priced M sport cars with double the miles, but dont look as nice.

2014 f06 on 110000 miles.
Fixed all the possible leaks (OFHG, oil cooler lines, ventilation hose, vacuum hose, coolant hose) except for the oil pan gasket (may wanna use AT-205 on that)
Also changed belt, tensioner, idle pulley, bearings.
Lastly it has the infamous "dipped beam left failure" which I will leave it as is since I've passed the MOT.
