ESYS Help
ESYS Newbie here
I've just managed to get ESYS 'launched', which i thought was a major step forward After connecting the cable, with ignition on, when i press the connection button, below is what i get instead of the target car selection that i expected? any suggestions please? |

Hi Jay,
try turning the car off for 20-25 minutes so that all ECUs are asleep. Then try the connection again. Also check with another Ethernet cable and make sure the connection is established. |

Are you running a VM? That screen shows that ESYS us not picking up the ZGW.

Thanks guys,
turned out that something wasn't right with the psdzdata, all good after re-installing that part. i'm in coding heaven now although the first code i tried didn't work, and then it got dark, i had to wrap up! i've picked up F30 coding cheat sheets, any other suggestions are most welcome. |

Great to her it's sorted out. For 6 series, F10 coding options (F10 cheat sheet) are the ones that are "closest" since F30 and newer models have ECUs that 6 series doesn't have and this may confuse one when looking for certain options which may be different or simply not work.
