Cleaned the cream leather with Maguires leather cleaner, good stuff. After watching some YouTube vids used a medium hard paint brush, worked well

Fitment and paint was surprisingly accurate and matched.

Wow that looks really good!

How much work was ist? Did you wrap it in the car or did you get out the parts for wrapping them?

Thanks

Thanks :-) I did the centre console, two air vents and passenger door yesterday. And yes, I did take the trim pieces out. If you only do a surface wrap the vinyl has nowhere to grip onto and will peel. I'll complete the driver door and rear trim strips over the weekend.

It wasn't a terribly difficult job. The curves and corners can be a bit tricky.

Changed to summer tires and went for alignment and wheel balance. Now the Dinosaur runs like a Gepard.

Thanks folks. Did the driver's door yesterday. What a PITA!!! At some stage in my 6-ers life some of the internal bits were glued which made removing the trim from the door panel a royal pain. On top of that, there is a super hard to reach clip which you need to remove in order to take the switch-cover off the wood trim.

The black cover was looking worse for wear so I decided to wrap it in 5d CF vinyl...what a mission. I am not happy with the look at all (after two rounds of wrapping) so I will live with it while I wait for a brand new cover from BMW. I like the CF look though, so I might take that piece to a professional wrap shop for them to give it a go.

The wood part was super easy to wrap. Removal help below:

Decorative Strips - Doors

Decorative Strip - Center Dashboard

Decorative Strip - Light Switches

Decorative Strip - Rear Panels

Decorative cover - Center Console

Decorative Cover - Cup Holder Lid

I really like the square tip action going on and with the rear diffuser looking similar to body colour ( I hate the stock greyish colour) I think the exhaust tips stand out nicely in silver.
