Best Used M6 GCs in the country. Weekly FPI (Flying Ace Power Index)
List last updated 1/17
**DISCLAIMER** I am not getting paid to compile this list. I have not done any due diligence on the seller or the cars themselves. This is solely my opinions on what is a desirable car and desirable price. Buyer Beware, do your own homework There's not a lot of M6 GCs out there that fits each person's wants. Combos of options, price and location makes it very hard to find your car. I was looking for a good year until I found my GC. So in the spirit of college football rankings, here is the first weekly FPI: Flying Ace Power Index. The top 5 cars in the country. These are my top criteria for the FPI: 1. Clean title (and also non-demo/M Track day/press car) 2. CP 3. Mileage <45k 4. 1 additional option from this list: CCB, individual, 6MT 5. List price <$65k 6. CPO 7. BMW dealership seller #1 The best M6 GC right now (for the money) is: SG '14 with CP in Minnesota. $63k for 15k miles. https://www.morriesluxuryauto.com/in...6c9c56ed466814 #2. '14 BSM $65k 24k miles. CPO https://www.crevierbmw.com/detail-20...-17172208.html A great CPO car came online, buy with confidence (pricing could be better, aim for $62k- $63k ) #3 IB '14 with ZCP, B&O $64k, 23k miles A "rare" individual exterior color. A pretty standard '14 car otherwise. I think price is $1k too high. http://www.californiabeemers.com/use...7112027246.htm #4 '14 SMB $64k 28k miles https://www.mancusomotorsports.com/i.../bmw/m6/17244/ Honorable Mentions: 1. Dollar for dollar, and options this car is amazing for the price: '15 Frozen White CP, CCB GC at Park Ave Saab/Lotus in NJ. $73k though, but you literally ticked every box. (this car was #5 on the list) http://www.parkavelotus.com/used/BMW...b30f4295f1.htm For some reason, I'm a sucker for this CP + CCB combo. Expensive, doubt the dealer would move anymore than $1k on this rare combo car. 2. '15 SG $68k, 21k miles. ZCP, CCB, extended leather, B&O. What more do you want? https://www.mbfoothill.com/inventory...6c9c54fd467848 3. '14 SMB $64k, 17k miles. Platinum Auto Haus https://www.platinumautohaus.com/201...**-c-12636.htm (Message me for why this is so low on the list) 4. '15 SG $67k, 31k miles. ZCP, CCB If you must have CCB and ZCP this week. Note, no B&O and a heavy tint on this car, and high mileage for a '15 http://www.californiabeemers.com/use...680bcd9f33.htm

I looked for close to 7-8 months to find mine, I wanted B&O and Sakhir Orange interior.... so took me a while.
The Beemer Haus has had a few M6GCs, they all seem to be sitting there for a while. Flying Ace you did get a hella deal with all those mods!! |

I've had my eye on this one before I picked up my 2014 M6GC. Dealer should be quite motivated by now, might be able to get it down to the low 50s.

Found two on CarMax:
https://www.carmax.com/car/15228464 GC, not sure if it got the 1200 break in. But well options minus the CF. https://www.carmax.com/car/15364822 Coupe, same about the history of the vehicle, but this one has the CF. Neither have the CCB. |

I just bought my M6, and only reason I'm still looking is bc I want confirmation that I got a decent deal. You can always throw up some cars for consideration on here and we can all opine on value and the like. Otherwise, I'll try to keep it going for a few more months, until I don't care anymore and the market pricing has moved.

For the GC, IMO, I would pass. Both #1 and #2 cars I posted are better cars. Less mileage for the same price. But you have to consider shipping costs.

you got a better car. Believe me. I talked to them once too. I only pass on it b/c I didn't want BSM.

Pricing is very different between the two and you could get a much better coupe than a GC at the same price point as Flying Ace mentioned. I'll go further and say that you might be looking at up to 15% off of a comparable GC if you decide to go for the coupe. They can definitely be had in the high 40s. I saw that the GC that Carmax has, I think they just dropped the price IIRC. Practically speaking you don't need to worry too much about the 1200 mile break-in as you could just buy a maxcare warranty which will cover the car past what a BMW extended warranty would. The price is ~ok for a car with that many miles. Where are you located? If you aren't too far from FL then it might be worth a transfer just to see. |

Also I agree that car #1 that you posted is probably the best deal on the market right now at the $60K price mark. Average miles per year being a bit high would be my only concern. Heck if this thing were around before I bought my 2014 I might have a tough decision to make, I think the beige interior is really nice Last edited by rsuhandy; 12-04-2017 at 07:31 PM.. |

Flying Ace and rsuhandy I think you both are right. And as for my personal preference I would like to get a GC. It too sexy of a car to pass up. BUT, as had been discussed in another thread, the 14's i-drive toggle bugs me a bit. And I'd prefer to have the updated tech pack along with the increase in HP/Handling adjustments/steering ratio. Which basically limits me to 15 & 16's -- I also think 15 to 16 had a lighting review.
let me know what ya'll think. Quote:

I think you're confusing the updated steering and suspension. All CP cars has the revised steering and suspension. All CP cars have the power bump. 2016 CPs got a larger bump to 600, '14 and "15 CP has 575 HP. However 16s carry a significant premium. You're paying close to $85k for 2016s right now.

1. clean carfax 2. CP 3. mileage <45k 4. List price <$65k 5. 1 additional option from this list: CCB, individual, Executive, Driver's, 6MT So B&O isn't high on my list. IMO, you're buying this car to drive it and listen to the burble of the exhaust, not the sound system. I've noticed B&O and Executive are more common than not having those two options.
