Hi everyone.
New to the forum just stumbled across this have actually been keeping and eye on this for a week or so and I've booked in my 640d GC to DMS for next Tuesday. Say they can achieve 395+ bhp and an extra 100nm - thoughts? |

I'm pretty sure you can get the sports display and torque values coded. Or at least that's the impression I've got from other people who have had the ECU tuned. Not sure if it's coding or just info on the ECU.
Can anyone confirm if this is possible? |

checked on the F10 forum and it seems this is not possible through coding

Mark, how does it react to changing between driving modes? Is there still a difference or are they all the same?
Will try and dug out some details, I'm sure I read it on this forum somewhere when others had theirs tuned. Not exactly a deal breaker for me, it's what it feels like. Hopefully someone on here will be able to chip in. Have you noticed anything yet in better fuel consumption? |

on fuel consumption im going to say theres an improvment, not leaps and bounds but im simply not noticing the needle heading south quite as quickly as it normally would.

I had mine done at Celtic Tuning Newquay...they got it to 408bhp stage 1.
Fuel consumption is better as I have a regular trip from Cornwall to Wales and it’s noticeable. The car also feels (felt) a lot more responsive ... I run on Michelin Pilot Sport 4s, great tyre... Once they have finished with at the dealership for the EGR recall ( 4 weeks in so far) I have no doubt it will be back to stock. But that’s not bad as I will take it straight back to be remapped again! |

Anyone had any gearbox issues at all? 700nm is the spec limit for the box and most of these maps seen to exceed this?

Hi, the recall will not affect your remap even if they also do the rear screen heat recall. Ask them to do your nav update free of charge as a gesture of good will. Again this will not affect your map.

Just had mine done today, stage 1.
BMW 640d 2014. Stock 309 BHP. DC Stage 1 remap 376 BHP Stock 611 NM Torque. DC Stage 1 remap 757 NM Torque. I also had the gearbox remapped, car drives very nicely now like a different car, deffo would advise everyone to get it done. I've got printouts here but don't know how to attach the photo? |
