Non-OEM CCB Replacement Pad RFI
Team,
After some swift googling (both here and on the open internet) I have inconclusive results on alternates to OEM Carbon Ceramic Brake System - Brake Pads (if any). If they do exist what do you all like? If nah, can someone confirm PN: 34-11-2-284-370 as the correct replacement spec.? 2014 GC ZCP CCB's Restepca, AYHSMB81 Last edited by ayhsmb81; 08-10-2018 at 06:49 PM.. |

confirming the OE pad number is easy. You just go to realOEM and select the brake assembly diagram for your car. In fact, it'll even tell you other parts you'll need for a brake job (paste, clips, etc).
Regarding 3rd party pads, you're by yourself on this one. You have to realize, most M6s were not built with CCBs. Even those that are, only the 2013-2014 models are just barely nearing their first pad change interval (I believe it's in the 50k miles range). Many M6 owners likely are buying OE anyways. So the population of the people you're soliciting responses to are small. The forum I would point you to is the F80 post side. There are many more F80 owners who have CCBs, and the discussion points there are more livelier than here. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1302752
