Nice! What warranty? Mine has a little chunk out of it from the previous owner at the bottom.

Stormy starting the year off on stock wheels. Had to take off my aftermarket wheels because they were bending like crazy on the CO potholes this year. I have to say I don’t hate how the stock wheels look back on. They compliment the blue powder coated calipers more than the dark wheels did for sure.

Did you end up using the spacers you had mounted with the aftermarket wheels? (BTW, happy new year)

The aftermarket wheels didn’t have spacers. My E38 does, on the stock M-Parallels, so those were what I was going to swap onto the F06 to see how it looks. But I haven’t done that yet! Hopefully soon. Happy new year to you as well!

The 373 wheel is such a great looking wheel. Classy, but not boring. Unique but not gaudy. With your lowering, the front and back lips, side skirts and 373's, I must say I like the look better than the aftermarket wheels.

I wish the 373 came in a wider wheel, then it would be perfect. One other thought, powder coating them like other here have done, is a great option. A gun metal grey would be delicious. Something that may be in my future.

Thank you! After seeing it for a few days, I kind of agree. I liked the old wheels but was already contemplating going back to stock even before one finally bent so bad I couldn’t fix it. Only thing I think I might try is some spacers to bring the stock wheels out just a tad.

I experimented with some 15 mm Ebay spacers and bolts, for the rear only, leaving the fronts stock (I too have 373's on Alpine). Paid less than $40 for the set of two and so far so good. I was a bit skeptic on spacers, and did not pull the trigger for a while, but when I saw that price, I could not resist. Often you hear of wobbling, but I have not noticed any. I was carful to clean the hubs well, and properly torque the bolts down. Still debating if I really like the look. I think with a lowered car, spacers definitely look good, but mine is not lowered.

hey make sure they are seated and flush to the hub.. also maybe have someone drive the car while u follow.... ..i picked up a set of 15mm from Amazon for the fronts ..those worked out great ..then i ordered another set of 10mm for the rear , different maker but also from Amazon.. those immediately didnt look flush to the hub but I really didn't feel any wobble.. until the one day my wife got pulled over by a motorist telling her that it looked like her rear tire was coming off.. .i got the car towed since I didn't want to risk moving the car and i didn't have the jack in the car .. When i got home the lugs were tight and when the tow operator dropped the car from the flatbed and drove the car on my driveway i could see the tire wobble ..then i had my wife drive the car slowly down the block i could see what the motorist were talking about ..the rear tires were wobbling ..i should of known better as they didn't look seated when I originally installed them .. i also lightly sanded all the debris off and thoroughly cleaned the hub before installing them.. clearly they were machined poorly.. so with the new 10mm spacers i got for the rears i followed my wife again to make sure I didn't get any wobble no issues at all ...these are Macht Schnell spacers though ... So just stay on top of them and maybe follow the car to make sure ..also retight them as needed.. especially the first 100 miles or so

Thank you for the concern, however I took the time to make sure that the install was done right.

I have read plenty of stories of those whose did not go so well. I have the proper tools and prepped the surfaces well. While a visual inspection of the mating surfaces is important, it is not conclusive. The bolts need to be torqued down in a specific sequence. I would recommend anyone not certain, go to a tire shop and have them do it. This is certainly not a job for those who are not DIY confident, as the consequences can be dangerous to the operator as well as others. I would venture to guess that most of these products, if not all, are made with a CNC machine. Therefore, most issues would be installer error related.

Thanks!
It was actually on a tow truck and took some damage, front bumper cracked. Tow was from a dealer who covered the damages(:

What do you mean that you don't dare fix it because you are afraid of this scenario? Because you think it might need to be replaced? The front bumper in that photo would be easily repairable, but the dealer just chose not to because it was their fault. But that would be a simple fix to good as new.

Meaning that after getting that fixed something hits to rear bumper again.
