Brand new 2017 640 GC

So I found myself in Riverside yesterday and stopped by the BMW dealership. For those of you who do not like the looks of the 8 GC and are looking for a new car, they’ve got a brand new White 640 GC that somehow didn’t get sold right on their showroom floor. It was fun to see a new one.

That is a good way to throw away about 40k in 10 feet of driving off the lot.

For entertainment, I ran the wholesale price. Depending on the options, this car Wholesales between $40,000 to $52,000 assuming only 10 miles on the odometer! So basically $50,000 off of MSRP! Haha to the dealer, good luck selling that.

Wow, an unsold three year old car. I'll bet some sucker will eventually offer $25k off sticker and think they got a great deal.

Wondering what the reason is for this car not to be shown, and sold, after nearly 3 years. I’m sure is wasn’t misplaced in the kitchen junk draw...

Just noticed that it seems to be strangely optioned. Looks to have driver assist but lacking many other things. Doesn’t have leather dash, window shades or even the HK system. I see no controls for the rear AC.

I can definitely see why it was unsold. Looks bare-bones.

However - they do have a few nice M6's and 650's that haven't been sold yet. Perhaps 6 series buyers didn't want their home dealership to be in Riverside 😂

$90,150 seems like a great deal to me. . .

Someone should call them to see what happened. I am guessing it received damage somehow or the odd duck was special ordered and the customer dropped out because they got upsold or took too long or something.

If you are serious, how is it a great deal? A four year old discontinued model is not worth anywhere near its new price. If you drove that car home for $90k and immediately put it up for sale, you would have trouble getting $60 for it.

yeah I'm not serious. I would get an M6 before considering that. The fun bit is asking what they are asking for it. The only factor to offset the craziness is the original warranty, but that engine seems to be relatively error free.

Here's an M6 with 8k miles one year older. Did I mention it's an M6 and not just the ///M kit?

sorry but i can not believe ppl can buy a 640 brand new... for big money you can touch plenty of newer bmw with nore newer tech and better drivetrain for less. Honestly bmw should have just put idrive 7.0 and update the cluster for 2019 then i would probably find it worth the price
